NEW TRIPS

The Ashara Retreats Himalayan Sacred Lakes Trek

Ashara Retreats and HGA have partnered up to develop a tailored version of our Sacred Lakes Trek in March and April 2024.

Led by Helen Dobra the trek wanders through the foothills of the Lower Manaslu Region to our familiar villages and faces before emerging at the xxx(couldn’t read word) spiritual Sacred Lakes of Nyemje and Nag Pokhari. From there we counter downhill to our spiritual home of Sirandanda and Dhepani before a end of trek celebration in the ancient Gouka village of Lig Lig Kot.

Manaslu Base Camp Exploratory

In Janaury we went on a splendid, challenging reece to the foot of the worlds 8th highest mountain, Manaslu (Spirit Mountain 8163m).

We had a puja and left a heart stone in memory of our much loved friend and client Sonya Mears Lynch.

Our itinerary winds up a powerful gorges before emerging into the otherworldly scale of the Upper Manaslu. After spending 5 or 6 days exploring the remote valleys, we embark on an exhilarating helicopter ride back to our trailhead.
