Tips for staff
ACCOMMODATION
In Kathmandu, we normally stay at the Hotel Karma or Hotel Mums Home in Thamel. Hotels have ensuite bathrooms and are clean and tidy (probably 2 star). They have been a home for us since 1995 and we hope you like them too. Twin-share accommodation is included in your trip price. Single room surcharge applies. If you would like an upgrade to a flash hotel at your own cost please let us know.
When tenting in on the trek we use only the most proven tents made in Australia specifically for the purpose. Lodges In the village of Barpak and the Hamlet of Mamche Hotel we may use
Lodges.
These are very basic, really just two simple beds and some rooms have an ensuite with a shower. They do however provide a bit of a pleasant change from tenting.
DEPARTURE DATES
28th September 2025 to 14th October 2025
