ACCOMMODATION

In Kathmandu, we normally stay at Mums Home Hotel, a funky and welcoming 3-star hotel close to Thamel. It has big rooms, great showers and beds, good WIFI, a beaut breakfast and very helpful staff. It is a home for us and we hope you like it too. Twin-share accommodation is included in your trip price, however, there is a range of rooms from singles to a family apartment that can be arranged at an extra cost.

When tenting we use only the most proven tents made in Australia specifically for the purpose. They are 3 person tents which are allocated to two.

TRIP REVIEWS

“If you want to experience the ‘real Nepal’ you cannot go past an expedition by HGA. I have travelled to Nepal twice, firstly to Everest Base Camp and several years later I was lucky enough to participate in the first Women’s Trek organised by HGA. I could not get over the two different Nepal’s I have experienced. HGA’s Women’s Trek took us to areas very few tourist get to see and to experience authentic cultural exchanges, unlike my very commercial experience of my EBC trek. Not only did I come away with phenomenal memories of Nepal and its people I made some lifelong friends with the women who accompanied me on the trek. Highly recommended the Women’s Trek and will do it again soon I hope.”
