ITINERARY
Day 01
Arrive at Kathmandu (1400m) and be transferred by to Mum’s Home Hotel in Jyatha, Thamel. You will be met by our guide Sandesh Tamang. After you freshen up Sandesh will do a gear check before wandering into the Thamel district for some shopping and the dinner at Bon Appetit at around 6pm

Day 02
In Kathmandu. Breakfast at Mums Home 8am. Visit Swyambunath (Monkey temple) in the morning guided by Sandesh. Afternoon at leisure for shopping, last minute gear purchases and being a tourist! Walking tour to Swyambunath ( Monkey temple) and free time for shopping!

Day 03
Chartered bus trip to Pokhara (810m). This will take about 7 hours. Lunch on the way. Stay at Hotel in Pokhara.
Meals provided – Breakfast at Mum’s Hotel.
Day 04
After a 7am breakfast we will depart for Nayapul in our jeep at around 8am. It will take around 1 to 2 hours to reach Nayapul. After then it is a 3 hour trek up to Ulleri where we will lodge for the night. Drive to Nayapul and then trek to Tikadungha.

Day 05
After breakfast we trek through amazing oak and rhododendron forests with tremendous views of Annapurna South (7129m) to Ghorepani. The afternoon is for you to explore!

Day 06
This is quite a long day. Before dawn we will head up to Poon Hill ( 1 hour treK)for the spectacular sunrise before heading back down to Ghorepani for breakfast and then down to the beautiful old Gurung Village of Ghandruk.

Day 07
It is quite a long descent down to Nayapul from Ghandruk with the awe inspiring Annapurnas behind. At Nayapul your jeep will take you back to Pokhara for a well earned rest and reflection.

Day 08
Pokhara is a bit of a party town on Christmas Eve and to wake up on Christmas morning with a view of the Annapurnas is magical. Spend the day boating on Lake Phewa and shopping. If you wish to spend an extra day in Chitwan you will skip this Pokhara day and drive to Chitwan.

Day 09
After your Christmas present allocations we will hop on our jeep to Chitwan. Upon arrival, after you settle into your room there will be a late afternoon elephant ride safari into the sunset jungle. There will be a Thalu tribe dance in the evening.

Day 10
There are many things to do in the jungle. You can wash elephants, canoe ride at sunset or just chillout. The choice is yours.

Day 11
We will get an early start (8am) for our drive back to Kathmandu so you can have the evening to chill. In the evening its is customary to take your staff out to dinner!

Day 12
Bhaktapur is a world heritage listed site just out of Kathmandu with fascinating architecture.. If you dont wish to go there then an excursion to Boudanath Stupa and the burning ghats at Pashupatinath are well worth a visit. Its your choice.

Day 13
As your flights are late at night, the day is yours to do as you wish. We will arrange airport Transfers and you can keep your room until 6pm. If you wish to stay longer its fine just let us know.

Tips for staff
ACCOMMODATION
In Kathmandu, we normally stay at the Hotel Karma or Hotel Mums Home in Thamel. It has been a home for us since 1995 and we hope you like it too. Twin-share accommodation is included in your trip price. Single room surcharge applies.
